In the 55th match of IPL 2021, Mumbai Indians have clinched a victory of 42 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Zayed Cricket Stadium. After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav’s devastating innings helped the Indians to collect a massive 235 for 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Ishan Kishan played the best innings of 84 runs from 32 balls with 11 fours and 4 sixes for the Indians. Besides, Suryakumar Yadav scored 82 off 40 balls with 13 fours and 3 sixes. Jason Holder took the highest number of 4 wickets for the Sunrisers. Besides, Abhishek Sharma and Rashid Khan took two wickets each.
The Sunrisers got off to a great start after coming down to chase a big target of 235 runs. They lost 1 wicket in 6 overs of powerplay and put up 70 runs on the board. The Sunrisers then started losing wickets in controlled bowling by the Indians’ bowlers. Manish Pandey single-handedly led the team to the target, but in the end, due to a lack of good accompaniment to him, the Sunrisers lost 8 wickets for 193 runs.
Manish Pandey played the highest innings of 69 off 41 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes for the team remaining unbeaten. Besides, Jason Roy scored 34 off 21 balls and Abhishek Sharma scored 33 off 16 balls. James Neesham, Jasprit Bumrah, and Nathan Coulter-Nile have taken two wickets each for the Indians.

IPL 2021 – Match 56 (Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals)
Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated the Table Toppers Delhi Capitals by 7 wickets in the last group stage match in IPL 2021 at the Dubai International Stadium. After losing the toss and being sent to bat first, the Capitals scored 164 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs.
Prithvi Shaw played the highest innings of 48 runs from 31 balls for the Capitals. Besides, Shikhar Dhawan scored 43 runs and Shimron Hetmyer scored 29 runs. Mohammed Siraj took the maximum number of 2 wickets for RCB.
Chasing a challenging target of 165, RCB reached the target after losing 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, courtesy of two great innings by Srikar Bharat and Glenn Maxwell. Bharat scored an unbeaten 78 off 52 balls smashing 3 fours and 4 sixes. Glenn Maxwell also played an unbeaten inning of 51 runs playing 33 balls. Anrich Nortje took the highest number of 2 wickets for the Capitals.
After winning this match, RCB finished the first round remaining at 3rd place in the points table with 9 wins in 14 matches. On the other hand, the Capitals finished the first round in 1st place in the points table with 10 wins in 14 matches.
