CPL 2021 Match 19 (Jamaica Tallawahs vs Trinbago Knight Riders)

Jamaica Tallawahs lost to Trinbago Knight Riders, facing them two matches in a row. After losing the toss, the Knight Riders lost 4 wickets in 20 overs and collected 167 runs on the board. Lendl Simmons scored the highest 42 runs for the team. Skipper Kieron Pollard (39 off 18 balls) and Tim Seifert (24 off 8 balls) also played two devastating innings.

Chasing the target of 168 runs, Tallawahs got all out scoring only 92 runs in 18.2 overs due to the Knight Riders’ great bowling. As a result, Knight Riders got a huge victory of 75 runs. CPL 2021 Match 20 (Barbados Royals vs Guyana Amazon Warriors)

In the 20th match of CPL, Barbados Royals won by 45 runs against Guyana Amazon Warriors. After losing the toss and propelled to bat first, the Royals lost 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and scored 185 runs.

Glenn Phillips played the highest scoring innings of 44 playing 31 balls for the team. Johnson Charles (40), Kyle Mayers (36), and Jason Holder (22) also played three effective innings. Romario Shepherd took the most number of 3 wickets for the Warriors.

Chasing a huge target of 186 runs, the Warriors were under pressure from the start with the bowling cannon of the Royals bowlers. As a result, they lost 4 wickets to score 59 runs in 8.1 overs. In the end, the Warriors got bowled out for 140 in 17.2 overs. Odean Smith scored 43 off 29 balls for the team. For the Royals, Nyeem Young took the most number of 3 wickets.
