The 3rd T20I between Zimbabwe and Pakistan will be held at the Harare Sports Club in Harare. The match will be kicked off on 25th April (Sunday) at 15:00 (GMT+6).
The series was spiced up by Zimbabwe’s win in the last match. The target now for the hosts is to win their first series against Pakistan.
So Zimbabwe has finally beaten Pakistan in T20Is. Pakistan were embarrassed by Luke Jongwe’s inspiring bowling performance as they struggled to chase down a mediocre target of 119. Pakistan’s middle order, as we previously mentioned, is very vulnerable, and if the top order fails to fire, the team can be in serious trouble.
Pakistan will now be under a lot of pressure to perform well, as a defeat to Zimbabwe before the T20 World Cup will be a huge setback. Since Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan will play the natural match, Babar Azam will have to take on a lot more responsibility now. The captain must hold one end while the other players revolve around him. They do have the bowling to limit the hosts if they can score about 150.
Zimbabwe’s confidence will be skyrocketing. Only if they bat well, and with Taylor back in the lineup, they have the resources to score a challenging total, and they can hope to win their first series against Pakistan. They have bowled well as a bowling unit, and if they can knock out the top order for not much once again, they can put Pakistan’s batting under pressure.
During the match, the weather will be pleasant with temperatures staying around 15 Degrees Celsius.
The pitches haven’t been easy to bat, but are definitely not as difficult as the sides have made it look. You can easily get 150-170 here if you bat well.

Despite their defeat in the last match, Pakistan is still ahead of the hosts. They must not, however, become complacent, as Zimbabwe has shown that they can’t be underestimated. Pakistan must also sort out their batting vows, else they will find themselves in trouble. As of now, Pakistan’s quality in the top order makes them the favourites to win this match!
