Bangladesh vs West Indies Match Highlights, 1st Test (Day 1): Warrican shines on the first day with his magical arm

Bangladesh and West Indies are playing against each other in the first Test of the series from Wednesday morning, February 3 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. Bangladesh captain Mominul Haque decided to bat after winning the toss and sent the West Indies to bowl.

Returning from the break, Shadman and Mominul put on 53 runs for the third wicket. With a boundary on Jomel Warrican’s delivery, Shadman picked up his half-century off 128 balls. But due to instability, left-arm spinner Warrican sent off Captain Mominul Haque with scoring 26 runs off 97 balls. One over before going to the tea break, another batsman Shadman walked the path shown by the captain. He made 59 runs off 154 balls and returned to the pavilion being LBW off Warrican. Although he lost his wicket due to the wrong decision of the umpire. Because it was clear in the television replay that Warrican’s ball was going far beyond the leg stump. Then Shakib Al Hasan made a pair of 49 runs with Liton Das. The hosts finished the second day’s play with Shakib Al Hasan (39*) and Liton Das (34*) with a team total of 242 runs for the loss of five wickets. Jomel Warrican was the highest wicket-taker for the West Indies (3-58, 24 overs) on the day.
