K.L Rahul (11 credits)
As captain of KXIP, the incredibly talented KL Rahul may not have had a great season but had a brilliant tournament with the bat. In five innings, he scored 302 runs, with two 50s and a massive 132*. Although he has scored a bucket load of runs, his fluent best is yet to be found.
This could be the match he does so. He loves batting against the Sunrisers Hyderabad and has 262 runs against them in 6 innings . With Sunrisers Hyderabad missing Bhuvneshwar Kumar, their ace bowler, KL Rahul might really go after Sunrisers Hyderabad‘s bowling.
David Warner (10.5 credits)
With 175 runs in 5 innings, David Warner had a good run in this year’s IPL. But like KL Rahul, he has not been at his best by any means. We picked him up again and again in the expectation that he would fire. But he hasn’t yet. However, the possibility is maximum that he will do it in this match.
With 819 runs in 17 innings with 10 50s at a SR of 142, David Warner has a fabulous record against Kings XI Punjab. In addition, currently Kings XI Punjab’s bowlers are extremely under confident after the thrashing they got from Chennai Super Kings in their last match. Therefore, all the odds are in David Warner’s favour, and we should ideally see a big innings from him.
Mohammed Shami (9 credits)
This season, Mohammed Shami has bowled extremely well. In five matches, he took 8 wickets and was one bowler who troubled the batsmen with his bounce and pace. At the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Mohammed Shami did well, taking 5 wickets.
He would relish bowling against a batting line-up of Sunrisers Hyderabad that has been tentative up front due to inexperience in middle-order. He’s a wicket taker, and you should expect a few feathers to be ruffled by him.
