AB de Villiers (10 credits)
A few days ago, AB de Villiers lit up Sharjah as he played one of the best IPL innings, scoring an unbeaten 73. De Villiers did it with some ease on a track where all the other batsmen were struggling to accelerate. He’ll enjoy the chance to play against a KXIP bowling attack that’s not the best. This season, he has a strike rate of 186, and if he gets enough balls to bat, he may be able to play an unbelievable knock again.
Mayank Agarwal (9.5 credits)
Mayank Agarwal has had an IPL season of breakthroughs. Finally, he has lived up to expectations. This season, he has scored 337 runs with an outstanding average of 48.14 and an SR of 159. Mayank also managed to score two 50s and even a tonne. He would have fond memories of Sharjah playing, as this is where he grew up in his hundreds. After a few days of a decent break, Mayank will be raring to go and replicate his success.
Yuzvendra Chahal(9 credits)
Yuzvendra Chahal had an IPL that was fine. At an economy of just 7,07, he preferred 10 wickets. In the last game, he was phenomenal as he picked up one wicket, conceding only 12 in his 4 overs quota. He’s a smart street cricketer, and while it’s risky to opt for a spinner as a multiplier in a place like Sharjah, it could turn out to be the difference. He’s going to fly the ball, and, as we’ve noticed, Sharjah’s pitches are getting slower. If the RCB bowl is second, he might be a great choice.
