3 players you must include in your IPL 2020 Dream11 team for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) vs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

Mayank Agarwal (9.5 credits)

Mayank Agarwal looks like the most fluent Kings XI Punjab batsman in the tournament. In six matches, he scored 281 runs, including a spectacular ton. In the last three matches, he has scored some fluent 20s, but has not been able to capitalise on those starts.

In the last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, he was unfortunate to get run out when he looked ready to have a good day. After missing three matches in a row, Mayank Agarwal will certainly look to make his form count in this match and get back to scoring big runs.

Shubman Gill (9 credits)
Shubman Gill has had a great start to this year’s Indian Premier League with 163 runs in 5 matches. There was a lot being expected of him coming into the season’s tournament. He still has to churn out performances that will do justice to his tremendous talent, while he has not disappointed.

He didn’t do much, apart from having a 70, and he wasted his start. Shubman Gill will be determined to make a mark in this match after missing out in the last few matches. Interestingly, Shubman Gill batted in 3 innings against Kings XI Punjab, scored 95 runs, including a 65*, and wasn’t dismissed a single time!

In the last couple of matches, we have also seen the Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad openers dominate the Kings XI Punjab bowlers. We can expect Shubman Gill to be competitive in this match, taking all of this into consideration

Chris Gayle (9 credits)
It’s finally expected that the big man from Jamaica, Chris Gayle, will get an IPL game. He wasn’t in this year’s Kings XI Punjab Playing XI despite scoring 490 runs last year. Chris Gayle is a man of pride and he would certainly have been disappointed by not having to play those initial matches.

And we can Chris expect Gayle to unleash all the cylinders firing to show that he’s still one of the world’s best T20 players. Traditionally, he loved playing against Kolkata Knight Riders, with 649 runs in 17 innings at SR 150 and an average of 46. He might be rusty, but we can expect some fireworks if he gets through the initial few balls.
