Virat Kohli (10.5 credits)
Undoubtedly, Virat Kohli has not had the season you would expect him to have. He managed 431 runs, but except for two significant innings, most of his runs were 30’s and 40’s. The significance performances for which Kohli was remembered were few and far between. But, this is as important a game for RCB as it gets.
It’s a knockout. And we can expect Kohli to bounce back and wrest power in this game after having lost in the last few games. He likes to bat against DC, and at an average of 62, he has 868 runs in 21 innings. We expect the old Kohli to come to the party on Monday.
AB de Villiers (10 credits)
The way he got out in the last game against SRH, AB de Villiers would be deeply disappointed with it. He’s also one player from whom RCB expects big innings. This season, he has delivered quite a few times but will have to step up once more.
He also likes playing against Delhi, having scored 12 innings of 439 runs at an SR of 164. In big matches, big players stand up, and in this critical game, we can expect de Villiers to take over. De Villiers might be the man to put your money on, particularly if the RCB is hunting.
Shreyas Iyer (9.5 credits)
Similar to Virat Kohli, while Shreyas Iyer managed 414 runs, he didn’t have his team’s match-winning innings needed from him. Shreyas Iyer will have to come to the rescue of Captain Iyer after suffering four consecutive defeats.
We know how dangerous a batsman can be when set down. Iyer was enjoying the pace on the ball as well, and he can take a liking to the pace attack of RCB. Though in the last couple of games he has been erratic, we can expect Iyer to play a captain’s knock in this game.
