Andre Russell (10.5 credits)
Andre Russell has not set the IPL on fire yet, but in the last match he looked to be finding the top gear. He scored 24 out of 14 balls against Rajasthan Royals, which included 3 massive sixes, but was unfortunately dismissed before he could completely explode.
Nevertheless, Andre Russ is sure to earn a promotion in the batting order with the incredibly short boundaries, and it would be blasphemous not to have him in your Dream11 team. It’ll be hard to stop Andre Russell if he gets going. In addition, he could also end up bowling a few overs due to his improved fitness, which could earn you even more points. Russell, therefore, is a must pick.
Rishabh Pant (9.5 credits)
Rishabh Pant, who had two amazing previous seasons, wasn’t as cleanly striking the ball as he is known to. But Sharjah could be a great venue for him to unleash himself. We know what Pant is capable of, with an IPL career strike rate of 160, and over 1000 runs in the last couple of years.
He’ll probably look to play some attacking cricket, and it could be a nightmare for the Kolkata Knight Riders bowlers if he gets into some kind of hitting form. Trust the young Rishabh Pant to come into his own in this match.
Shubman Gill (9 credits)
With 124 runs in 3 matches, Shubman Gill was one of the most outstanding batsmen in this year’s IPL. While batting, he looked calm and unflustered and hardly played false shots. He has also shown his ability to consistently find the gaps.
You don’t have to be a big hitter to score runs in Sharjah, like Mayank Agarwal displayed in an earlier match. With his repertoire of strokes and a strong run of form behind him, Shubman Gill will certainly be in contention once again to be one of the game’s top performers.
