Faf du Plessis (10 credits)
This year, Faf du Plessis has had a dream run. He is the second-highest run-scorer this season with 299 runs in six games. He had scored three half-centuries already and was sweetly timing the ball.
A couple of games back against KXIP, he smashed a brilliant 87 and looked to be in good shape. Like de Villiers, in the last game he played, Faf, too, lost out and will look to capitalise in this game on his golden run of form.
AB de Villiers (10 credits)
AB de Villiers, Mr 360, had an excellent start to the IPL this year. He played an integral part in two of them in the three matches RCB won this year. He has scored 155 runs with two 50s in five games. His 176.13 strike rate was incredible, given that RCB had not played a single Sharjah game yet.
Although he has performed well, a huge one has yet to be scored. This may be the game where he takes responsibility for the missed opportunity against DC and makes up for it.
Yuzvendra Chahal (9 credits)
Yuzvendra Chahal was among the wickets this season once again. In five games, he has picked up eight wickets already and looks good for more. He bowled with a lot of ability and precision, and in this game, he’ll want to bamboozle CSK’s batsmen. For Chahal, Dubai has been a happy hunting ground.
In just the 23 overs he bowled at this place, he picked up nine wickets. To add to that, against the CSK batsmen, he has an excellent record. Watson’s wicket has been picked up three times in 24 balls, and none of the top four CSK batsmen has an SR of more than 100 against him. When walking on to the field, he is sure to keep those numbers in mind.
