Kane Williamson(9.5 credits)
Williamson has managed only 32 runs in the 28 balls he has played in the last 3 games after an exciting 41 out of 26 in his first game. There’s no question about the quality of Kane as a batsman. Skipper Warner, however, opted to send in Manish Pandey and hitters before him, such as Abdul Samad. This game also includes countless top-order batsmen, in-form. Therefore, Williamson should be left out merely because of the complexities of fantasy cricket, and the possibilities at our disposal.
Sanju Samson (9.5 credits)
Like in the last few seasons, Sanju Samson began this IPL with a bang as well. In the first two games, he scored 74 off 32 and 85 off 42 and was looking set to have a brilliant season. History repeated itself, however. Samson wasn’t even able to hit double digits in the last 4 games, and his scores read a diminutive 8, 4, 0, 5. While we shouldn’t forget that he’s still a very talented batsman, it’s also true that he’s still very severely out of shape and short on trust. Therefore, taking Samson out would be wise.
Ben Stokes (9.5 credits)
The Rajasthan Royals were waiting patiently for the return of Ben Stokes to their side. As is apparent, he will most likely play his first game against SRH. But, it’s necessary to note that a long gap is coming from Stokes. The urge to have an all-rounder like Stokes in your team may be significant, but after spending six days in quarantine, Stokes will be rusty, and may not be at his 100% best. Therefore, logically, leaving the feelings aside, it would be easier for this game to eliminate Stokes.
