Sunil Narine (9 credits)
Sunil Narine was not at his best with a bat or a ball in the game. He only scored 44 runs in the whole IPL with the bat. He was fully exposed in the tournament to quality pace bowling. He was not the wicket-taker with the ball that he was considered to be.
He only picked up five wickets and was not penetrating at all. With him in the batting order being degraded and Sharjah not being a favourable ground for spin bowling, it is possible to exclude Narine.
Dinesh Karthik (8.5 credits)
In the last game, Dinesh Karthik got his form back, scoring a game-winning half-century. Excluding him, therefore, could seem ridiculous. He is unlikely to get too much batting in Sharjah, however.
They are likely to get promoted ahead of DK, with the likes of Eoin Morgan and Andre Russell in the squad. Therefore, this omission is not due to cricketing purposes, but rather to imaginary cricket.
Navdeep Saini (8.5 credits)
Navdeep Saini has bowled at a reasonable pace, but this season he has not been able to select wickets. In six games, picking three wickets doesn’t speak too highly of his results. It is not necessary to bother the batsmen.
It’s necessary to select wickets, too. And wickets are also what carry in fantasy points. Sharjah is also not the most excellent stadium for bowlers, particularly those who may appear to be erratic, like Saini. Saini should be removed from your squad.
