MS Dhoni (9 credits)
Regardless of how difficult it seems to absorb, this year, MS Dhoni has not been up to the mark. In the first leg of the match, he batted far lower in the order and thus couldn’t get the number of times he would have liked in the middle for himself. Nevertheless, even supporting himself as the tournament progressed was of no benefit. This was the first season where, despite featuring in 11 matches, Dhoni was not able to score even a single half-century. MS scored a meagre 180 runs at 25.71 in 10 innings.
Aaron Finch (8.5 credits)
Aaron Finch hasn’t been able to justify the title this year despite having a reputation as a hard-hitter. Finch has found the going rough more often than not, striking much lower than his expectations, and has been under minor strain because of the same. While he earned a couple of decent scores in between, his overall season count was underwhelming. This year, in 10 innings, he scored 221 runs at 22.10 and hit 110.50.
Gurkeerat Singh Mann (8 credits)
One could be tempted to pick Mann, given his decent credit requirement. A big concern with him has always been continuity. Mann’s poor run has been mostly cloaked by the success of the other big names around him without making any visible success for his side. There is something he has done to be in your Dream11 squad for this encounter, with just 40 runs in 5 innings this year.
