Quinton de Kock (9.5 credits)
De Kock flattered to deceive after having looked strong in the season’s first encounter. He had a bad start in this season, with 48 runs in 3 innings. He didn’t look very relaxed and struggled to get a move on against pace and spin alike. It would be easier to opt for someone else, with several strong keepers and top-order batsmen already present for this game.
Glenn Maxwell (9 credits)
There was a great deal expected of Glenn Maxwell going into this season. His outstanding record from the 2014 season in the UAE was something KXIP was optimistic that he would duplicate. But he didn’t look a bit like that violent Maxwell.
Although he only played 19 balls this season, he was only able to manage 19 runs, which is quite strange. He doesn’t look like he is in any rhythm and lost his form badly. He can struggle again against a strong bowling line up. It is also essential to eliminate him from your squad.
Krunal Pandya (8.5 credits)
Krunal Pandya is one of the players who were a significant source of disappointment for the Mumbai Indians. As a bowler, Pandya has not been penetrative at all and has only chosen 1 wicket in 3 games he has played. He hasn’t met many bats, so there isn’t anything to tell about his batting.
His services scarcely helped Mumbai. Pandya also has insufficient numbers as a bowler against KXIP, with just 3 wickets before this game in 21 overs. Krunal still not adding a lot of value, it would be easier to leave him out.
